How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

Como eu te amo? Deixe-me contar as maneiras.

I love thee to the depth and breadth and height

Amo-te com a profundeza e grandeza e altura 

My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight

Que minha alma pode alcançar, quando quase desaparecendo

For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.

Para os confins do Ser e Graça ideal.

I love thee to the level of everyday's

Amo-te no nível de cada dia

Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.

Necessidade silenciosa, da luz do sol ao anoitecer.

I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;

Amo-te livremente, como os homens que lutam por seus Direitos;

I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.

Amo-te puramente, como aqueles que recusam a Glória.

I love thee with the passion put to use

Amo-te com paixão posta em prática

In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
